Are you a Maths specialist looking for a new role?

Are you looking for a role with flexible working hours?

Here at TP Tutors (Specialist Tuition Branch of Teaching Personnel) we are looking for Maths tutors needed to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Northamptonshire.

 We have been requested to find qualified Maths teachers and Maths tutors who can support students who require additional tuition and intervention support. You will be given the opportunity to teach Maths to looked after children, low achieving students and many more.

The ideal candidate for this Maths Tutor Role:

  • A strong background in teaching Maths
  • UK recognised QTS is desirable.
  • An understanding and knowledge of the Maths National Curriculum
  • Experience teaching small groups and the ability to create engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Role and Responsibilities of this Maths Tutor role:

  • Delivering high-quality maths tutoring sessions to students at the secondary level.
  • Providing personalised support and assistance to students, catering to their unique learning needs.
  • Creating interactive and stimulating sessions.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback via our learning platform- LEAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
