Maths Teacher

Our client secondary school based in Bury are looking to recruit a highly inspirational, enthusiastic and skilled Maths teacher ahead of September 2018.

This Maths teacher post is initially a temporary post, however due to the nature of the gap within the Maths department; there is the opportunity for the successful Maths teacher to gain a permanent position.

  • Full time Maths teacher post starting September 2018
  • Salary (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum) dependant on experience
  • Ofsted graded Good with a supportive management team
  • Teaching both KS3 and KS4 Maths
  • Located in Bury, on the outskirts of the town centre

The school are looking for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join a well structured Maths team who consistently achieve excellent results. The incoming Maths teacher is required to have a proven record of achieving excellent results across KS3 and GCSE and will be able to evidence this.

This Maths teacher role will involve building strong relationships with pupils and be able to stretch the learning of all pupils no matter their ability. You will be passionate about crossing the attainment gap and making Maths accessible to all pupils.

The incoming Maths teacher will have the opportunity to join a warm welcoming team at this vibrant, supportive school. Ofsted have rated the school good throughout all criteria and under the guidance of the new Headteacher they continue to excel.

Located in Bury our partner secondary school can be accessed from Heywood, North Manchester, Bolton and access to M66 motorway and good transport links. For non drivers access to public transportation links from Manchester city centre and Bolton directly to the school, the school has a designated car park.
