Our client school located within the Rochdale LEA are currently looking to recruit a Maths teacher for an upcoming maternity leave within their Maths department.

Found in central Rochdale, a short drive from the M62 the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas and has regular public transport links. Serving an ethnically diverse catchment area, there are an average number of EAL pupils on roll in which specialist teaching assistants offer additional support to individual pupils.

Applicants must hold UK QTS and a PGCE/Equivalent specialising in secondary Maths , with the school encouraging both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers to apply. The ideal candidate will be confident building strong rapport with pupils and hold the ability to consistently deliver ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ practice.

The successful maths teacher will be required to take on full responsibility for a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes ranging in ability. You will be required to plan and delivering engaging lessons and will have full access to excellent facilities and resources within this modern school.
