Maths Teacher Required for a Small Academy Near Grantham

  • We are working closely with our client school, who have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of Maths with a start to be negotiated by the successful candidate, an immediate start would be ideal. The successful candidate will have responsibility for teaching Maths to KS3 and GCSE. We expect the successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, holding QTS or equivalent and ideally have a degree in Maths, in addition we require recent, referenceable teaching experience.
  • We are recruiting for a small academy school situated in a village just outside of Grantham. They offer a high quality education to students aged 11 - 16. Having recently joined a Multi Academy Trust they have worked hard to invest in the academy’s facilities, increase academic standards, and enrich the learning offer for the students. The schools results of 5 or more A*- C GCSE grades including English and Maths has risen by 21% in the last three years and is strong evidence of the improving academic standards, driven by the high expectations and aspirations.
  • Grantham is a market town within the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It bestrides the London to Edinburgh East Coast Main Line railway and the River Witham, and is bounded to the west by the A1 main north-south road.

We are excited to be working exclusively with The David Ross Education Trust, who are developing a network of unique and diverse schools and academies.

The David Ross Education Trust was established by the David Ross Foundation.

‘By supporting the needs of each academy, our mission is to ensure that each of these academies is recognised as outstanding, by supporting and broadening the horizons of staff, governors and, most importantly, students to ensure that everyone has access to a high quality academic education. The Trust believes that each of its academies should have a unique ethos and character that responds to the needs of its local community. We strongly believe that parents should have choice and diversity and be able to choose from a range of schools within their area to best meet the needs of their child, but that once that choice has been made we will do everything possible to meet the needs of the child and ensure that they become successful learners and develop into young people who the family, academy and community can be proud of.’
