Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Weymouth

Full-Time | Permanent (or Long-Term) | Start Date: Easter 2026

A welcoming and well‑resourced secondary school in Weymouth is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics Department from Easter 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking their first post in a supportive and forward‑thinking school.


About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Teach engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning that supports all students
  • Contribute to curriculum development within a collaborative department
  • Track student progress and implement effective interventions where needed
  • Create a positive classroom environment that motivates learners
  • Work closely with colleagues to raise attainment and promote a love of Maths

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality teaching and secure strong outcomes
  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
