Maths Teacher – Gillingham
Full-Time | Start ASAP

A secondary school in Gillingham is looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school where every student is known, supported and encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.

The school is continuing to build on recent improvements, with students making stronger progress year on year. Staff enjoy a calm, focused atmosphere where high expectations, respect and positive behaviour underpin daily life.

As a Maths Teacher, you will teach Key Stages 3 and 4, helping learners develop confidence, curiosity and a strong foundation in mathematical skills. You’ll be part of a collaborative staff community that values teamwork, trust and professional autonomy.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Can teach Maths confidently at secondary level
  • Delivers engaging, well-planned lessons that challenge and motivate students
  • Builds positive relationships through clear communication and consistent practice
  • Is committed to maintaining high standards and fostering a positive learning culture

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
