History Teacher – Weymouth
Full-Time | Start ASAP

A progressive and well-respected secondary school in Weymouth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their Humanities department as soon as possible. This full-time position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, ambitious team committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging, well-planned History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students build strong historical knowledge, develop analytical thinking, and foster a genuine interest in the subject.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Strong subject knowledge in History with experience teaching KS3/KS4
  • Confident classroom management with the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Skilled in planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships with learners
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to supporting all students’ needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
