Job description

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking for a maths teacher to work with us on a part-time basis in the area of Didsbury.

This role will be starting immediately working full-time, with those days being 6.5 hours. This role will be an maths focused role requiring you to be a fully qualified teacher with a passion for mathematics and able to communicate that to students.

The school is an excellent school in the Didsbury area near, it is easy to access via public transport being close to main roads and walking distance to a train station. The staff of the school are all kind and compassionate embodying the values of the school to an excellent degree. The students can at times be challenging with some of your focus being on behaviour management allowing you to assist students who need that extra helping hand.

Key information:

  • The pay will be £769.25 - £1,192.95 a week.
  • You will be working 3 days a week on a part-time basis.
  • The placement of the school will be temporary with the potential for it to turn into a long term contract.
  • The length of the initial placement will be the summer term.
  • You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 students.

Requirements:

  • You must have a passion for teaching maths.
  • Must be a fully qualified maths teacher in the UK.
  • Planning and marking responsibilities are included (you will be paid to reflect this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
