Job description

Maths Teacher – SEMH School (Cranborne/Wimborne Area)
Location: Cranborne/Wimborne, Dorset
Contract: Full-Time, from September 2025
Age Range: 11–16 | Salary: Dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school based in the Cranborne/Wimborne area. The school is seeking a full-time Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team starting September 2025.

The school supports pupils aged 11–16 who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges. They provide a nurturing environment tailored to individual needs, with a focus on building strong, positive relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

  • Strong Maths subject knowledge

  • Experience working with SEMH pupils (desirable, not essential)

  • Excellent behaviour management and a patient, calm approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
