Teaching Personnel is recruiting Maths Tutors to support students in Clifton and surrounding parts of Nottinghamshire.
If you’re a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or someone with strong subject knowledge and a desire to make a difference, this is a chance to have a direct impact on a learner’s journey.
Your Role:
-
Deliver focused 1:1 or small group Maths tuition
-
Support learners with topics across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 (and beyond, if applicable)
-
Adapt your teaching approach to suit different abilities and learning styles
-
Help students tackle challenges in numeracy, problem-solving, exam techniques, and core mathematical concepts

Provide feedback to monitor progress and motivate learners
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience teaching or tutoring Maths (KS2–KS4)
-
Recognised qualifications such as QTS, PGCE, or a relevant degree are a bonus, but not essential
-
Confidence in delivering engaging, effective Maths sessions
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
-
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
