Teaching Personnel is looking for motivated and knowledgeable Maths Tutors to support students in Carlton and across Nottinghamshire. This is your chance to make a real impact, helping young learners develop their confidence and skills in Maths — from basic numeracy to exam preparation.
Whether you're a qualified teacher or an experienced private tutor, your support can change lives — one student at a time.
Your Role:

Deliver personalised 1:1 or small group Maths tuition

Support students with key topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and exam techniques

Adapt your teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and levels

Help learners gain confidence and improve problem-solving skills
-
Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience teaching or tutoring Maths (Key Stage 2–4 or higher)
-
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) — preferred but not essential
-
Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
-
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
