Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Maths Tutor to deliver high-quality tuition at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level. This role offers the chance to support learners in developing numeracy skills, improving exam performance, and gaining confidence in a subject that opens doors.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised Maths tuition

• Support learners in achieving Functional Skills or GCSE Maths targets

• Adapt teaching techniques to match different learning styles and needs

• Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

• Encourage critical thinking, resilience, and independent problem-solving

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred

• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
