Help Learners Build Confidence in Maths and Achieve Their Goals
Teaching Personnel is seeking skilled and committed Maths Tutors to deliver high-quality, targeted tuition at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners who may be working below expected levels, preparing for exams, or in need of personalised guidance to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored Maths sessions that address each student’s individual learning needs
-
Support progress in numeracy skills and exam preparation
-
Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and motivate learners
-
Monitor and report on student progress with clear, constructive feedback
-
Help build learner confidence and independent problem-solving skills
Requirements:
-
Experience teaching or tutoring Maths (Functional Skills and/or GCSE level)
-
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred
-
Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
-
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
