“We are looking for a motivated and positive Mathematics teacher to join us in October. This is an open vacancy as a result of an unfortunate departure of a member of our department, due to personal circumstances. Whilst we are sad to see this long standing member of the Maths department leave, this will leave an opening for a new, passionate practitioner of Mathematics to join our supportive department. Teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths only, the successful teacher of Maths is required on a part time basis and will benefit from a large team of professionals as well as weekly meetings promoting collaboration”

This highly reputable secondary school in the Chorlton area of South Manchester is looking for a part time Maths teacher as per the above the information from the Head of Mathematics. Teaching up to GCSE level, the school are ideally looking for a Maths teacher who is keen to progress onto a school based contract as soon as possible and wants to further their career in a thriving Maths department.

Highlights of this Maths teaching position:

  • Pay will be dependent upon payscale and experience (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604) pro rata for part time (3 days per week)
  • Initially on a supply basis but with the chance to progress onto a school based contract
  • Part time, 0.6 Maths teacher required to join, starting October 5th
  • Highly supportive large Mathematics department in this large, highly reputable secondary school (Ofsted graded outstanding)

It is therefore the school of choice for a lot of the local cohort of students with the expectation of staff to provide education and teaching of the highest quality.
