Teaching Personnel is looking for a full time Maths Teacher for after the Easter holidays for the foreseeable at a brilliant school in South Bristol.

You will be part of a dynamic team of specialist Maths teachers led by the Head of Maths. Whether you're new to teaching or experienced, the head of maths will support your growth. You will deliver inspiring Maths lessons across Key Stages, nurturing our students' love for the subject. Also, serve as tutor, fostering student success in both learning and life.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outstanding lessons tailored to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Monitor and meticulously report on the progress of students.
  • Take proactive measures to ensure all students reach their full potential through the implementation of exceptional feedback methods.
  • Cater to the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium recipients, looked after children, those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and High Attaining students.
  • Recognize, value, and actively support the delivery of opportunities extending beyond the traditional classroom setting.
  • Seek to enrich and add value to the students' overall experience and learning.
  • Take ownership of developing your own expert teaching practices.
  • Empower others by actively supporting the development of their professional expertise.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • QTS/PGCE in Secondary Mathematics.
  • Exceptional subject knowledge up to Year 11.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
