Maths Teacher, Darwen Behavioural School

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Lancashire area, near Darwen which caters specifically for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviours. The School caters specifically for KS3/4 pupils who are no longer in mainstream education and they are in need of a Maths Teacher for the new academic year. The School are smaller than average, Ofsted graded 'Good' and currently caters just for male pupils.

The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, qualified, enthusiastic and empathetic Maths Teacher with experience working with pupils who have SEN and/or difficult behaviours. The School are looking for a full time, long term member of staff to work specifically in the Maths department, however, you may be expected to deliver additional subjects on an ad-hoc basis.

The candidate must be available full time from September and looking for a long term role within a behavioural unit. The candidate must be looking for a role within a behavioural unit and must be empathetic towards the needs of the pupils. Candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be favoured but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rate £90 - 139 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN
