Maths NQT

If you are a Maths NQT looking for an exciting teaching opportunity in September, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Maths NQT within our client's high achieving secondary school. The Maths NQT role is ideal for teachers who are looking to undertake their NQT year of teaching and become a fully qualified teacher.

  • Maths NQT position on a temporary basis with the opportunity of gaining a permanent role
  • Located in Warrington, in an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated secondary school
  • Teaching Maths to students aged 11-16, up to GCSE level
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Position starting in September for the new academic year
  • Opportunity for supporting extra curriculum activities
  • Working within a cohesive, forward thinking and hard working team

With the new academic year approaching, the outstanding secondary school located in Warrington are filling an open vacancy within their Maths department. They are looking for a Maths NQT, who is ambitious, confident and outgoing, willing to go the extra mile to support their students.

"We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Maths to teach across the school to GCSE level. We are looking for candidates with a passion for teaching Maths and have the ability to deliver innovative, fun and interactive lessons." Headteacher

The ideal candidate should have:

  • evidence of good quality teaching and subject knowledge
  • an understanding of how to use assessment to inform planning for excellent teaching and learning
  • the ability to differentiate materials to meet the needs of the learners
  • evidence of good behaviour management skills
  • a willingness to contribute to enrichment activities
  • an enhanced child workforce only DBS certificate on the update service
