Maths/Literacy Tutor in Croydon

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an eager Intervention Tutor who specialises in English Literacy/Language and Mathematics tutoring. This particular role will vary between 1:1 and Small group interventions with both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils within one of our 'Outstanding' schools, located in Croydon. You will be providing support for selected students who are known to struggle with their Language phonics and Reading skills (our SLCN and Dyslexic pupils) and for those who are excelling!

The ideal candidate must empathise and understand the varied level of English speaking between each pupil, and implement special learning techniques to support them.
Be creative in providing a fun, stimulating and safe environment that can be transferred to main-class learning
Maintain high standards of education - in compliance with the school's 'Outstanding' status.

Candidates must have Child workforce DBS on update service.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
