Role Overview:
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Maths department and helping students excel in their mathematical journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Classroom Support: Assisting Maths teachers in delivering lessons, providing one-to-one or small group support to students who may require additional help with understanding mathematical concepts, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Resource Preparation: Preparing teaching materials, resources, and equipment for Maths lessons, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of individual students and support the curriculum objectives.

Individualized Support: Providing targeted support to students with varying abilities, helping them to overcome challenges, build confidence in their mathematical skills, and achieve academic success.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assisting in the assessment and tracking of students' progress in Maths, providing feedback to teachers, and contributing to the development of intervention strategies to support students' learning needs.

Behaviour Management: Supporting the implementation of positive behaviour management strategies in the Maths classroom, promoting a respectful and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field from a reputable university.
- A passion for education and a desire to support students in their mathematical journey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students facing mathematical challenges.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively within a team environment and respond to the diverse needs of students.
