You will be working 1-1 with children in year 2 in the mornings and groups of up to 6 children in the afternoon delivering SATs boosters (year 6). This school is a 30 minute tram journey from Piccadilly Manchester r so is easily accessible. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and can hit the ground running from day one.
The child or group you will be working with are below the national average for achievement in Maths. Under the direction of the teacher you will be working towards improving the outcomes for these children.

The school is a two form entry Roman Catholic school. The head teacher has an open door policy when it comes to the children's learning and supporting staff.
