Do you have a Degree in Maths and interested in a career in education?

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Chorley, who have approached us to recruit particular subject specialists, to join their successful 'good' secondary school in September. We have a number of Graduate Teaching Assistant positions available from September 2019 and are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Graduate who is keen to pursue a career in education. Our Future Teachers Programme provides the right candidate with a 12 month Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant position in one of our nationally recognised teaching schools in preparation for the schools direct teacher training programme commencing the following academic year.

  • Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant 12 month position from September 2019
  • Continuity placement in one secondary school preparing you for Teacher Training
  • Train to become a Secondary School Maths teacher in a nationally recognised teaching school
  • Ideal for Maths Graduates looking to secure career as a Secondary School Maths Teacher
  • Induction prior to position start date and regular training

This is a Graduate Training Programme in which you will be fully supported for 12 months. Responsibilities as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant will include; supporting class teachers in Maths lessons, leading small groups within the Maths department, monitoring progress and attainment and reporting to class teachers. The ideal applicant will be a recent Maths Graduate with a passion for education and drive to empower students to succeed. Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
