A secondary school on the East side of the Warrington area is looking to recruit a Mathematics teacher to start following the October half term. The successful Mathematics teacher is required to cover a maternity leave which is due to take place during the half term between November and December. There will be a period of transition where the successful teacher of Mathematics will teach within the Mathematics department alongside the current teachers, before taking over from the current teacher due to leave for their maternity.

The school is a large comprehensive secondary school with a fantastic reputation in the local and wider area. The school is a "Good" rated secondary school and is the school of choice for many students and parents alike.

Highlights of this Mathematics teaching position:

  • Full time Mathematics teacher required to start following the October half term
  • Teach KS3 and KS4 Mathematics for the remainder of the academic year covering a maternity leave of the current second in department
  • Good rated secondary school located on the East side of Warrington
  • Opportunity to gain a great introduction to a good school
  • Pay ranging between £100 - £160 per day depending on experience and payscale

The school are looking for a Maths teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and is able to maintain the high standards of the school. Planning and marking will be expected as part of this teaching role, with the successful Mathematician expected to fully immerse themselves in school life. Whilst this position is on a supply basis, the school have been clear that they will see the teacher of Mathematics as part of their team.

The school is situated on the east side of Warrington making it very easy to access for those travelling from Warrington and Trafford. The M6, M62 and M56 motorway networks all service the nearby area very well. The school boasts excellent facilities and is set in very impressive grounds.
