Job Title: Full-Time Mathematics Teacher
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Competitive, in line with pay scale
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Starting Easter until July 19th, 2024)

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued success and development of our Mathematics department. This is a full-time position, starting from Easter and concluding on July 19th, 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate student learning and achievement.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and progress, in line with school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
- Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student progress and achievement.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
