Maths Teacher Needed in Plymouth!

Position: Maths Teacher Location: Plymouth Start Date: April 22nd, 2024 Duration: Ongoing, full-time Employer: Teaching Personnel

About the Role: As a Maths Teacher in Plymouth, you will have the exciting opportunity to empower post-16 adults with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in GCSE level Mathematics. You will join a dynamic team of educators dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons tailored to the needs of post-16 learners.
  • Utilize innovative teaching strategies to enhance student understanding and engagement.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and assessments.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialisation in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching GCSE level Mathematics, preferably to post-16 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
