Part time lunch time supervisor job, South Croydon SEN School

Are you looking for part time work during the day?

Are you able to start straight away after the Easter 2019 half term?

Maybe you drop off children to nursery or school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon so can't work full time? This work could be suitable for you!

I have an Ofsted rated 'outstanding' SEN school in South Croydon who are seeking an enthusiastic lunch time supervisor to work on an ad hoc basis when they require cover staff. You will be warmly welcomed by the staff at this school as they have an excellent reputation with Teaching Personnel and in the local community.

The school is looking for someone who would find working with children who have learning disabilities, including those who are physically disabled and wheelchair users, a rewarding use of your time. The role entails:

  • Provide support, supervision, companionship and care for students in a mix of key stage classes (both primary and secondary) over their lunch time period
  • A small amount of personal care may be involved in this role - assisting with feeding/toileting
  • Part time hours are 12:10pm - 13:40pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
  • As a regular member of staff, you may be eligible to attend their training days, where you will receive guidance on safeguarding and child protection, sensory development and how to effectively work with non-verbal communicators

You will be paid weekly by Teaching Personnel, and we will also pay a national insurance and pension contribution for you, as your direct employer - we do not use an umbrella company. We also offer a referral bonus of £50 if you recommend another member of staff to us.

To find out more about this school or to apply for the job, please send your CV to Louise today.
