Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a pupil referral unit (PRU) in Guildford, Surrey. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support children with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH).

The ideal candidate will be fully Team Teach trained, experienced in this area and thrive on the challenge of a varied and demanding role. We are looking for teaching assistants who have a have a sincere passion from seeing results and are willing to work hard to ensure the developmental success of all pupils. We look forward to hearing from TA's with SEMH and Autism experience as well as other learning difficulty experiences.

The successful candidate must be able to remain patient and calm when the pupil is feeling frustrated. The pupils social skills are relevantly poor meaning that it is important you can help enhance their communication skills and integrate them into the class.

You must have an up to date DBS check and for it to be registered to the update service. If you don't currently hold a DBS on the update service we can help with this.
