Literacy Specialist Teachers required across Derbyshire for intervention support

At Teaching Personnel, our Primary clients across Derbyshire are becoming more and more reliant on additional support from Teachers to assist their pupils in raising learning and attainment levels through delivering tailored, subject specific intervention sessions on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.

We are seeking to recruit experienced and flexible Fully Qualified Teachers who specialise in Literacy and have a genuine interest in developing the learning and ability levels.

Staff who tailor a well planned, structured and fun Literacy Coach programme to individual pupils have a proven track record in raising their engagement and attainment. You will also be required to complete individual Pupil Progress Reports and have high communication skills to liaise with the class teachers.

Our programmes are designed as booster sessions to fill subject knowledge gaps to ensure pupils, of low or high abilities, are reaching the levels they should be working at, or specifically for KS2 SATs. This could mean you will be working with a variety of abilities and year groups so it is essential that your curriculum knowledge in Literacy is up to date and that you cater for the needs of each individual pupil.
