I am currently working with a nursery based in Hitchin looking for support staff on a bank and permanent basis either full or part time. You will previously have experience of working in a nursery or looking to begin your career in this setting. 

The nursery is looking for enthusiastic professionals that want a career in an early years setting.  They are part of a wider group of nursery's and have amazing training and devlopment opportunities across the group.  

Please see below a brief over view of the job and expectations; 

- Working with children from 0-4 

- Play based learning 

- Encouraging learning and development

- Creating a secure environment, using imagination to help children to learn.

- Enabling children to build their literacy, language and numeracy skills.

- Monitoring progress and planning educational games.

- Putting together activities which will keep the children engaged throughout the day.

- Helping children get ready for the transition into a classroom environment.

- Creating the right balance between activities and down time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
