Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and confident Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team based in Brentwood. This is a full-time position with both permanent and temp-to-perm options available, depending on your preference and suitability.
You will play a vital role in supporting the early years development of children, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and creative activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Monitor and support the progress and development of children in your care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date observations, assessments, and reports.
- Build strong, effective communication and partnerships with parents/carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and daily experiences.
- Promote and maintain health and safety, safeguarding, and hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Be confident managing key person responsibilities, including planning next steps for children's learning.
- Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures to ensure consistent standards are upheld.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Previous nursery or early years setting experience (essential).
- Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Confident with all duties associated with the role, including planning, observations, and liaising with parents.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them develop.
- DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
