Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in primary schools across Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners and make a real difference at a crucial stage of their education.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum
Supporting classroom teachers with learning activities and behaviour management
Providing emotional and social support to help pupils develop confidence and independence
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A genuine passion for supporting young children and SEN pupils
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
