Learning Support Assistant – Primary SEN Schools

Location: Southampton
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 2 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in Primary SEN schools across Southampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs and make a real difference to their learning and development.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and SEMH

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and emotional development

  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and behaviour support

  • Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

  • Ability to commit to at least 2 days per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
