Job description

Learning Support Assistant – KS2
Full-Time | Primary School | Long-Term Position

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming Primary School who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full-time basis.

This role involves supporting pupils who are currently working at a KS1 level, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, deliver small group interventions, and offer one-to-one assistance where needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting children in a Primary settings

  • A good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • A patient, nurturing and proactive approach

Key Details:

  • Full-time position, Monday–Friday

  • Long-term role with the potential to continue for the full academic year

  • Supporting pupils working at KS1 level across the curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
