Educational Health Care Assistants

About the School

Teaching Personnel are working with a forward-thinking Specialist Provision attacged to a Primary School in Gorton. The school provides:

The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring EHCA staff to support pupils with education, health, medical, physical and personal care needs.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting personal care (toileting, hygiene, feeding, dressing)

  • Assisting with mobility (hoisting/lifting if required)

  • Encouraging engagement in classroom activities

  • Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing

  • Adapting support to individual pupil needs

  • Communicating effectively with staff & families

  • Reporting concerns promptly


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in SEN, childcare or child healthcare settings (desirable)

  • Resilient, supportive and caring approach

  • Willingness to provide personal care

  • Strong communication & teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
