Learning Support Assistant – SEN Secondary School
Location: Dibden
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time (Flexible hours)
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN secondary school in Dibden. This is an ASAP start role, available on either a full-term or part-term basis, supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs.

The Role:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assisting students with their learning, engagement, and personal development

  • Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation where required

  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support individual education plans

  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

  • Calm, resilient, and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
