About the Role

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across the Farnborough area and is seeking committed and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants. You will be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them to engage with learning and thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Assist pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks

  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to follow individual education and support plans

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable

  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
