Job Title: KS3 Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Basildon

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 students
  • Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Key Stage 3 students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
