Job Title: KS3 Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, Clacton-on-Sea

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

 

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to Key Stage 3 students in a variety of subjects
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Key Stage 3 students
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the Key Stage 3 level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 3
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience with online teaching platforms

Working Conditions:

  • This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-time hours with flexibility required to meet student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
