KS2 Teaching Assistant role in Altrincham,WA14

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Trafford Primary school in Altrincham, WA14. The Altrincham Primary School is looking for an experienced KS2 Teaching assistant to begin working on a full time basis after the October half term. The role that the school is looking to fill is a general TA role in a year 4 class.

The school have said that someone experienced within LKS2 is highly sought after but have stressed that a candidate the displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude with an understanding of the curriculum would be considered for the role. The school are looking for someone who is the right fit for the school and will be able to hit the ground running. The role will require the Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher inside of the class room. Being able to work in small groups with both lower and higher ability pupils is key. There could also be some requirement for 1:1 reading with lower ability pupils in order to bring them up to the expected level.

The Trafford Primary school in Altrincham has recently undergone a headship change which has seen the school improve drastically. The new head has been praised by Ofsted for the work she has done with the school over the course of her headship. Taking the school from "needs improvement" to "good" in such a short space of time has received praise from Ofsted as well has surrounding head teachers. working in a school that is progressing as fast as this Altrincham Primary school would be a good experience for any Teaching Assistant weather you have years of a experience or just a few months.
