KS2 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Hayes, Primary School)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

A vibrant primary school in Hayes is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in Key Stage 2 to thrive both academically and socially.
Role Responsibilities:

Support KS2 pupils (Years 3–6) in class, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis.

Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.

Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs.
-
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
-
Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Experience working with children in KS2 (school-based preferred).
-
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
-
A patient, proactive and positive attitude.
-
Excellent communication skills with both staff and pupils.
-
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
-
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
