Job description

Teaching Assistant – Hayes – September Start
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Hayes from September. This is a Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm position, ideal for someone enthusiastic about working in education and eager to support children across a variety of subjects and age ranges.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers across KS1 and KS2 to provide targeted support for individuals and small groups. Your role will include helping to prepare resources, supporting with classroom management, assisting in delivering lessons, and promoting positive behaviour and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous classroom experience desirable but not essential

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent)

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues

  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to helping pupils achieve their best

3. KS1 Primary Teacher – Hayes – September Start
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring KS1 Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school in Hayes from September on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community, high expectations for pupils, and a commitment to delivering an engaging and creative curriculum.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS1 class, planning and delivering well-structured lessons that cater for a range of abilities. You will foster a positive learning environment, maintain strong behaviour management, and work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • QTS and proven experience in KS1 teaching

  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • A creative approach to lesson planning that inspires and motivates pupils
