KS2 Teaching Assistant in Blackburn

A primary school situated on the outskirts of Blackburn have approached Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading supply agency, for help with the recruitment of a Teaching Assistant with recent Key Stage 2 experience to begin work on a full-time basis from September, once the necessary vetting checks are complete.
The Role…
The successful candidate will be based in a Lower Key Stage 2 class. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing lesson resources
- Carrying out administrative tasks
- Supporting small groups of children during lessons
- Creating displays
- Assisting the Class Teacher in the management of behaviour
- Delivering interventions
You will be appointed on a full-time basis (8:30 - 3:30, Mon - Fri) on a temporary contract from September until the end of the academic year, with a possibility of gaining a permanent contract following a successful period of probation.

To be successful in your application for this role, you must have:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
- Recent experience working alongside pupils in Key Stage 2
