Full‑Time | Part Time | Long‑Term Role | Immediate & Ongoing Starts
Pay Dependant on Experience! £89.38 – £95 Per day

Teaching Personnel are seeking caring, committed, and enthusiastic 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support primary‑aged pupils across schools in the Par area. These roles are ideal for individuals who thrive in a supportive, child‑focused environment and enjoy working closely with pupils who require tailored guidance and encouragement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build strong, impactful relationships and become a key part of a school’s SEND provision.
About the Role
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a child with additional needs such as:
- Autism (ASC)
- Speech & language difficulties
- Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
- Learning and communication challenges
In this role, you will:
- Provide personalised 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Help the pupil access learning and participate fully in class
- Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and behaviour
- Promote independence, confidence, and social development
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to deliver tailored interventions
- Create a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
