*KS2 TEACHER REQUIRED IN SKELMERSDALE* (PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY!)
Our client school in Skelmersdale are looking for a Teacher to support the needs of students with ASC and SEMH in KS2.
All pupils attending the school have statements of special educational needs linked with SEMH, including specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, cognitive and complex learning difficulties.
The class currently caters for 6 pupils, (x5 Year 5 pupils and x1 Year 6 pupil) and there will be at least 1 Teaching Assistant in the classroom for additional support.
The school have expressed that applicants must have very strong behaviour management skills to be considered. You will ideally have experience working in a PRU / Short Stay School / EBD School although this is not essential if you are strong and resilient.
The role is full-time and will be on a temp - perm basis, resulting in a permanent contract after a probationary period.
The school are happy to consider both NQTs and FQTs.
The role is to start ASAP but the Deputy Head has advised they are willing to wait for the right candidate.
