Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a middle school in Northumberland. The Teacher will be joining a school with impressive results across the board and the role involves teaching and covering multiple subjects across Years 5 and 6. Initially the school would like a teacher to initially work for a few days across KS2, with the outlook of potentially taking the right teacher on full-time.
This KS2 Teaching position is a fixed term full time position from June 2019 until April 2020, covering a maternity. This co-educational secondary school has a supportive and dynamic Science department with great resources throughout. There are some SEN pupils within the school therefore; prior experience with behaviour and other SEN would be desired.
Specific Details about the role:
- KS2 Teaching role - covering all subjects in the KS2 curriculum
- Starting in June 2019 until Easter 2020 initially
- Five days per week
- Potential for a permanent role following the maternity cover

In order to be considered for this role, the Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS
- Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum
- NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
- Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
- Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check
