Do you have SATs support experience?

If you answer yes to the above questions then the ideal role could be available for you. Teaching personnel are working with a school in the Manchester, M22 Wythenshawe area to recruit a KS2 intervention Teaching Assistant. The role will be on a full time basis until the end of the academic year and is to begin as soon as possible. The role will involve taking small intervention groups for year 6 classes across all 3 different classes in that year group.

Having gained the rating of "GOOD" in their previous report they are now looking to better the school and the students by offering intervention classes for pupils in order to help support them for their SATs. This school is said to have "built the foundations in order to become an outstanding school in the near future" under the new exceptional leadership at the school

The Manchester school is looking for someone that can help out with pupils struggling with the lead up to their SATs. The role would involve supporting both lower and higher achieving pupils with Reading and Maths in the hope of raising their results by taking the pupils into smaller grouped classes and helping them on a more personal basis to develop these skills. The groups will involve around 5 pupils at a time from the Year 6 class.

Having previous experience within Key Stage 2 and specifically with year 6 SATs would be highly sought after. Core subject graduates of Math and English would also be beneficial.
