Experienced KS1 teacher? Looking to expand your experience and knowledge of the KS1 curriculum?
We are currently recruiting for a KS1 year leader, to support the functioning of the KS1 classes. You will be heavily involved in the creation of the KS1 curriculum, planning activities and lessons.
As you over see the classes they will be looking for a strong member of staff to positively affect the results and progression of the year groups.
The school?
This two form entry school has created a strong community based environment, incorporating parents/carers and the local community within the school. The school recently received a 'good' rating Ofsted, being commended for the progress they have made within all areas in the school.
The school is based in Ealing, a short walk from Ealing Broadway station. Easily accessible, being connected by numerous train and bus services.
The role?
This full time role will involve creating and structuring the KS1 classes, being incorporated in the planning and assessing of each class. You will be managing around 10 members of staff, including numerous early years practitioners. There is a great importance placed around the KS1 and EYFS curriculum - so a background working with the KS1 curriculum is crucial.
Ideal candidate?
- Experienced across the KS1 classes
- A background in managing staff
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- An ambitious and positive influence upon the class
