EYFS/Reception specialist teaching assistant - Hounslow - full time - September 2020 start - GBP65 to GBP90 per day

Are you experienced working within EYFS settings? Looking for a full time role with an immediate start? Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools across the Hounslow borough, providing both short and long term staff. 

We are currently recruiting for a full time reception and KS1 teaching assistant to work within a primary school in Hounslow. This role will start in September 2020, working alongside other highly experienced early years pracitioners/teachers to provide a high standard of care. 

The role?

This full time position will involve working alongside a large early years department, you will be heavily involved in the maintenance of their student's development reports, including working with the SENCO. As the class primarily works on a free flow basis you will be required to conduct group based activities, working on topics such as phonics, letters and sounds and shapes. A huge part of the role will be working with your key children to provide specialised support, including working with students with special educational needs or those currently undergoing the statement process. You will have to provide feedback to parents, carers and other members of staff especially for parents evening updates.

As a large three form entry school they are focusing on the quality of staff that are working within their learning environment. One of their main priorities is to create a positive learning environment, helping all staff and students develop. With a recent change in their senior leadership team they have seen lots of positive changes occur among staff and results. 

The school has seen positive changes across their results and development reports, particularly across KS1 and KS2 phonics/SATs results. 

Ideal candidate?

- Experienced working with students in early years & reception settings

- Confident supporting students with special educational needs

- Experienced working with a number of key children
