A school with an inspirational & engaging Head Teacher are currently seeking a KS1 teacher to join their friendly team of staff. The Head teacher is welcoming and expects their staff to work hard in order to raise standards in the classroom, and in turn give the children the best chance to reach their full potential. The staff team are welcoming & everyone shares the same goal.
Job description
- KS1 Experience is required
- NQTs and M Scale Teachers are welcome to apply
- September start, 5 days a week for the first term
- £90-£135 per day
The school is located in the Bournemouth area, with the number of children arriving from socially deprived backgrounds, the ideal candidate will have a high level of Special Educational Needs and Behavioural experience. It is therefore important that the applying teachers are able to give evidence of experience working alongside children with a variety of abilities and learning needs.
Qualified Teacher Status is a necessity for this role and the school are welcoming applications from NQTS. There is capacity in school to potentially support a newly qualified teacher with part of their NQT induction.
The pay for this role will be reflected part in experience and how well you manage behaviour. The reason for this role is due to cover required for the end of a maternity leave. It will be a good school to work in as the Head teacher has good links across the local area and cluster groups.
In order to apply and be successful in this role you must have the following;
- QTS
- Experience working in KS1 classes
- Experience working alongside children with special educational needs and behaviour
- Have full time availability from September 2019
- Be available this term to undertake an interview and lesson observation
