Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate teaching assistant, to work within a large Liverpool Primary School. The position is to start in as soon as possible and run until at least December, with the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract.
The successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 and small grouped Phonics booster session for KS1 pupils in preparation for the Phonics screening. Experience working with the 'Letters & Sounds' Phonics scheme and delivering small group intervention is highly sough after for this role.
The School is graded as 'Good' by Ofsted, were the new Headteacher alongside him able SLT team have turned the school around after recent staff turnover. You will be joining a vibrant 2 form entry primary school and joining a large support staff team in the KS1 department.
This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour. The school is easily accessible via a number of transport links and junctions of the M57.
