Job description

I am looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bournemouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and who wants to make a positive difference to their education, wellbeing and development.

The role

As a Teaching Assistant , you will play an important part in creating a safe, positive and engaging environment for our pupils. You will work closely with colleagues, pupils and families to ensure every child is supported to achieve their potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils in their learning and development.

  • Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.

  • Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

  • Working effectively as part of the wider school team.

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the school and its activities.

  • Promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.

  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
